SRC/FSM implemented different activities with the purpose of raising awareness using the increased visibility of ‘International days’ and creating synergies by working closely with partners.

26 June – International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit trafficking in collaboration with CPECA – Centre for Prevention, Education and Counselling against Drugs (the regional branch of ANA – National Agency against drugs in Bucharest) lectures were organised with youth and women from Copalau concerning drug abuse and illicit trafficking.
12 August – International Youth Day - organised in Flamanzi, the day with the theme „Make yourself seen, make yourself listen: participation of youth for development” had as objectives: development of creative skills to generate ideas and opportunities to spend leisure time addiction free, the promotion of healthy alternatives on alcohol, tobacco, illicit drugs use; facilitation of an exchange meeting between youth from Iasi and Botosani. Activities were focused on 2 workshops with 40 youth participating.
1 October – International Day of Older Persons - SRC/FSM raised awareness about the growing problems of elderly by initiating discussion and publishing over 2 days special ads in the biggest newspaper of the North East region.
16 November – National Day without Smoking. The campaign was organised together with CPECA Iasi and other governmental and non governmental organisations. Messages about the effects of the smoking on pregnant women and children were a major topic.
25 November – International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women .The theme for the international day 2007 was “Demanding Implementation, challenging Obstacles: End Violence against Women”. A campaign of the Council of Europe provided materials and SRC/FSM organised an international poster exhibition from 22 November to 30 November. ‘Moldova Mall’ was a sponsor by providing the space, situated in the centre of Iasi city). International partner was Terre de Femmes Germany which provided Campaign flags (in three languages) and Films which were screened for school classes with a total of 200 adolescents and their teachers attending. In this campaign also the Iasi City Police was also involved.
1 December – World AIDS Day - was marked by SRC/FSM during the Health Week in the “Dimitrie Negreanu” High School. AIDS was one of the topics in the classes involved in the project.
10 December – Human Rights Day -The Human Rights Day was celebrated during the 16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence with the exhibition for eliminating violence against women, starting 25 November.
18 December – International Migrants Day - In Flamanzi, a commune highly affected by migration, the whole school participated at an exhibition of drawings made by pupils during workshops organised by SRC/FSM and additionally films were screened.
